Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Thank you for the gift of Your Word. Thank you that we can come together and grow in our faith, and in our love for one another week after week. Help us to be so in awe of who you are that it leads to genuine love of you, and our families, friends, and neighbors. Amen.
- What stands out to you from Acts 2:42-47 and the video?
- When you hear the phrase "biblical community," what comes to mind? How is it different from simply having Christian friends?
- The passage says that people "devoted themselves to the Apostles teaching. How is it that different from just attending church or listening to a sermon?
- How can we know what sound teaching truly is when we hear it, as opposed to false, or just misconstrued understanding?
- How is Christian fellowship different from just hanging out with good friends?
- When proverbs says, "Iron sharpens iron", what does that mean to you? Is there an example of a time where a conversation or an act observed by a fellow believer helped sharpen you?
- How does sharing a meal together affect our relationships with each other, more than a formal meeting our Sunday gathering?
- Why do you think communion, or breaking bread together, played such a big part in the early church?
- As we pray "the prayers" together, Sunday after Sunday, is there one that moves you, or that you remember throughout the week?
- How can we facilitate a greater awe of God in our daily lives?
- Give everyone an index card or piece of paper. What are some ways that you can deepen your awe of The Lord this week? Write down a few ideas that you can put into practice.
- Write down the name of someone who "sharpens" you. Pray for them, and schedule a coffee or a lunch date with that person to encourage one another in your walk with Jesus.

- Spend time praying together.
- Pray specifically: For the needs of your house church and the Gathering Church as a whole.
- Pray that we would engage in listening intently to sound teaching, devoting ourselves to breaking bread together, having genuine Christian fellowship, and seeing the prayers we say on Sundays as more than just a rote practice.
- Ask The Lord to increase your love for His Kingdom, and to assist us to see Him for who He truly is, and stand in awe of His power, love, and mercy.
- For God to use this study through Acts to form us into a Church on the Move.
