Over the next few Dinner and Discussion gatherings, we are going to be walking through this Evangelism Training that, by God's grace and movement, will strengthen our faith and equip us to share the gospel with those who are in need of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Included is the training guide that pairs with the training videos. There is also a link for the evangelism questions that are best used while walking with someone through this study of John's Gospel account. Our prayer is that this training will be a powerful experience for each person as we read and study this book and that the work the Lord does in our lives will overflow from us and be shared with our family, friends, and neighbors.
Each week, we will gather to talk through some group discussion questions. During the times between gatherings, watch the training videos that will be linked at the bottom of each section.

Last week we began with our passage from John 21:20-25 that reminds us of the truth of the testimony John wrote. This gospel account is a true testimony about who Jesus is, what he came to do, and what is continuing to finish. This is good news that is to be shared with our family, friends, and neighbors. Over the course of this studying and training, we will be exploring the depths of John's gospel account while also being equipped to share it with others. Let's begin our time this week with this reading from Acts.

Opening Question:
- What stuck out from the introduction video? Anything new? Anything confusing?
- How does defining evangelism impact the way God is calling you to share the gospel?
- Evangelism was defined as "to make known by word and deed het love of the crucified and risen Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit, so that people will repent, believe and receive Christ as their Savior and obediently serve him as their Lord in the fellowship of the church (From the 1988 Lambeth Conference).
- The training gave us three simple thoughts to help us get a handle on the gospel. What do each of the statements mean and how do these statements help you grasp the gospel in a more clear way.
- We Lost it All
- Jesus Did it All
- We Get it All
- Where do you spend time with non-Christians? What are those relationships like?
- What do your current church commitments look like? How many hours a week/month are you spending on church activities?
Prayer:
- What prayer needs does each person have?
